Andrea, Lovelyn to play leads in Vetri Maaran’s next

Filmmaker Vetri Maaran has produced several award winning films like Kaaka Muttai and Visaranai under his production banner Grass Root Film Company. His last production venture, Miga Miga Avasaram too was lauded by the Chief Minister and was screened for 200 female police officers in the state. The latest news is that Vetri Maaran is all set to produce another film. A source in the know told DT Next, “The film will be a thriller that will have Andrea and Lovelyn Chandrasekhar in lead roles. The untitled movie will be directed by a debutant. Andrea and Lovelyn have been attending the workshops for their respective roles. The rest of the cast and crew will be officially announced by Vetri Maaran when the film starts rolling in May.”

This will be Andrea’s second collaboration with Vetri Maaran after Vada Chennai. She had also previously dubbed for Taapsee Pannu’s role in Vetri Maaran’s National award-winning Aadukalam. Meanwhile, Vetri is busy with the post-production work of his upcoming directorial Vaadivaasal that will have Suriya playing the lead.
