Mysskin, STR likely to join hands for the first time
It’s been only a couple of days since we reported that director Mysskin had a huge fall out with Vishal and even opted out of Thupparivalan 2 due to budget issues. The former apparently demanded Rs 40 crore more than the estimated budget to shoot the final schedule of the film, which Vishal didn’t agree.

Almost 60 per cent of the film is already complete and major portions of it were shot in London.
The latest we hear that the director-actor has moved on to his next, and has even finalised the lead actor. A reliable source reveals to DT Next that STR is all set to play the protagonist in his upcoming film. “After Thupparivalan issue, Mysskin wanted to work on a new project, without wasting any time. He approached STR and narrated the script. STR loved it and agreed to be a part of it. However, he is yet to sign the official agreement.”
STR is currently shooting for his long-delayed political film, titled Maanadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu. We hear that the actor will begin working on Mysskin’s project from May 2020.
