Post the episode, the actress was threatened by the producer of not clearing her hotel bills. Finally, Mehreen on Wednesday took to Twitter and said that she was maintaining a dignified silence regarding the entire issue but when her reputation was tarnished she was forced to tell her side of the story.

The actress admitted that she could not make it to one interview with Aswathama promotions due to her skin allergy. She also clarified that her manager settled all the bills. Reacting to this, the producer on Wednesday said that the actress was paid for a 30-day call sheet and completed her portions in 15 days. However, she was given her entire remuneration before completing her shoot and yet the actress was unprofessional in her approach towards the film. Reacting to this, Mehreen Pirzada told DT Next, “Whatever happened has happened and it was unpleasant. I am trying to put this entire issue behind and move on towards good things in future.”
