Rashmika Mandanna confirmed for Suriya-Hari’s project
A few days ago, there were reports that actress Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play the female lead in Suriya’s upcoming project with director Hari. Now, a source from the film’s unit has confirmed to DT Next that actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is all set to make her debut in Tamil with Karthi’s Sultan, has signed the project.

“Malavika Mohanan was never approached for the film. It was mere speculations. Rashmika Mandanna has been finalised as the female lead and she has already given bulk dates for the project. The film will be made on a grand-scale and it will be an important film in Suriya’s career.”
Meanwhile, Suriya is also waiting for the release of Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara. He is also working on the pre-production of his upcoming project with Vetri Maaran.
