The latest we hear is that actor Prasanna, who has earlier worked with Dhanush in Power Paandi, has been roped in to play an important role in the film.
A source close to the film’s unit says, “Prasanna will be seen playing the antagonist in the film. Karthick Naren loved Prasanna’s performance in his third directorial venture Mafia and he wanted to work with him in his upcoming project with Dhanush as well. This time, Prasanna will have a different look and his character would strike a chord with the audience. An official announcement will be made soon.”
The film will go on floors in a months time, once Dhanush completes shooting for his upcoming film with Mari Selvaraj. It was also announced that GV Prakash will be composing music for the film.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is also busy with the pre-productions works of his second Bollywood film, directed by Aanand L Rai.
