Amala Paul in the Telugu remake of Dhanush’s Asuran

A few days ago, the first look poster of the film’s Telugu remake, featuring actor Venkatesh, was released on social media and it became an instant hit.
The latest we hear is that actress Amala Paul has been roped in to play an important role in the film. A source close to the team says, “Amala Paul will reprise the character played by Ammu Abhirami in the original. She has already begun shooting for her portions. An official announcement will be made soon.” It is worth noting that Priyamani will be playing the role played by Manju Warrier. We also hear that the team has tweaked the script a bit to suit the Telugu sensibilities.
Meanwhile, Amala Paul will also be doing a web series in Bollywood this year.
