The latest we hear is that actor Kalidas, son of veteran actor Jayaram, has been roped in to play the protagonist in her segment. A source in the know of things says, “Sudha Kongara was suppose to direct a full-fledged feature film with Kalidas as the lead. However, things didn’t happen due to various issues. Now, the director felt that Kalidas would fit in perfectly for the film which she is going to make for Netflix. The actor, too, loved the script and gave his dates. An official announcement will be made soon.”
Meanwhile, Sudha Kongara is also working on the post production of her third film, Soorarai Pottru, with Suriya in the lead role. The film is scheduled for a summer release.
