Nayanthara will join the team from the second schedule to shoot for the project. Indhuja will be seen in an extended cameo in the film. The first schedule of the shooting which went on for over 40 days in Kanniyakumari was wrapped up on Saturday last. Ishari K Ganesh, who bankrolled recent films like LKG, Comali and Puppy under his banner Vels Film International, is the producer of the project. Girish Gopalakrishnan will be composing music for Mookuthi Amman. Dinesh Krishnan of Thaanaa Serndha Koottam fame is the cinematographer of the film while Stunt Silva has been roped in to choreograph action sequences.
