Got an offer to direct Rajini post Lucifer: Prithviraj
Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer, which released in March 2019, garnered huge response among the audience and made the cash registers ring at the box office.

Now, the actor-turned-director has revealed that he was offered to direct a movie for Superstar Rajinikanth post the success of Lucifer. He also said how he couldn’t take it up as he was busy with his Malayalam film, Aadujeevitham, which he got committed to a few months ago. “Soon after Lucifer released, I got an offer to direct Rajinikanth sir’s next film. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take it up. I don’t think I have typed a longer sorry note to anyone in my life,” he said. Prithviraj’s second directorial has been titled Empuraan, and the shoot of the film is likely to begin by the end of 2020.
