Anirudh, Dhanush reunite with Pattas

Talking to DT Next about the song, the composer duo said, “It is not a ‘gaana’ number like Thara Local in Maari. It’s a romantic song titled Jigidi Killadi and will be a melodious rendition.”

On why Anirudh was roped in to croon Jigidi Killadi, they said, “When we looked for who could justify the Chennai dialect, we couldn’t think of anyone else other than Anirudh. He has nailed it.”

According to Vivek-Mervin, the album of Pattas will be a musical treat, “We have released three numbers so far and there are a few more songs that will come up. It will be an album for everyone. Apart from that there are quite a few theme music tracks as well in the list. We will keep them coming one afterthe other.”

Pattas, bankrolled by Sathya Jyoti Productions, has Dhanush in a dual role. The film that stars Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada as the female leads will hit the screens on January 16.
