Sai Pallavi, Prakash Raj sign Vetri Maaran’s web series?

Earlier we had reported that acclaimed filmmakers Gautham Menon, Vetri Maaran, Vignesh Shivn and Sudha Kongara were coming together for an interesting series for the online streaming platform Netflix. While there were reports on social media that they were teaming up for an anthology, similar to Lust Stories, based on caste killings, we hear from reliable sources that Vetri Maaran has already signed the lead actors for his segment. Sai Pallavi, who was last seen in Dhanush’s Maari 2, has been approached to play one of the leads. A source says, “Vetri Maaran has narrated the script to Sai Pallavi. She was impressed by her character and agreed to be part of it. She is yet to sign up. However, the director has already finalised Prakash Raj for a pivotal role. An official announcement will be made by the end of this month.” It is worth noting that Prakash Raj had earlier worked with Vetri Maaran in his last outing Asuran.

Speculations were also rife that Vignesh Shivn has also finalised Bollywood actress Kalki Kochelin and Anjali as the protagonists for his segment.
