“Pacha Maanga is a complete family entertainer with an underlying message. The content is strong and will be appreciated once the film releases. I don’t want people to jump to conclusion by seeing the posters. There have been several discussions a few years ago on my choice of films. From now on, I will be taking up roles that are strong and substantial. I won’t let anyone take me for granted,” the actress told DTNext.

Sona will be seen playing a cop in Theduthal. “It is an action drama and it always feels good for any artiste to play a cop. Apart from that I also have Trisha’s Paramapadham Vilayattu in which I play a politician. My character will have different shades to it. I have completed shooting for the project. Next year, I will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s Chasing which revolves around bike racing. I am quite excited about the line-up,” she concluded.
