Priyamani signs her first Tamil film post wedding

The Paruthiveeran actress has signed her first Tamil film post her wedding, which will be directed by Anand Leela. Bankrolled by Hari Hara Pictures, the film will have Kannada actor Praveen Reddy in the lead role. Talking about the project to DT Next, the director says, “The film will be a science fiction, and it will be something new for the audience. Priyamani will be seen playing the role of a CBI officer and we had already completed shooting for two schedules.” He also reveals to us that the film will revolve around a murder and Priyamani will be investigating the case. “There is no space in the film for romantic sequences or a love story. It will be an intense thriller and Priyamani has a huge scope to perform.”

The protagonist of the film, Praveen Reddy, has written the story and the screenplay for the film. “We are yet to shoot for a song and a couple of fight sequences,” the director adds. It is also worth mentioning that, in one of Priyamani’s earlier interviews, she said that she was waiting to be part of Tamil cinema again and will sign one if the script sounds interesting.
