Directed by Atlee, the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu star will be seen playing a negative role in the film. Ask him about his role, Daniel Balaji says, “I can’t comment anything on my character now as it’s too early. But I can tell you that I have a lot of fight sequences with Vijay Anna and they have come out well. In fact, my look will be something new for the audience, as I will be sporting long hair in the film.”
On sharing screen space with Vijay post Bairavaa, he says, “Working with Vijay has always been a pleasure. He is a one-take artiste who clearly knows what he is up to. What surprises me is his ability to change his expressions right in the middle of a shot. In fact, he gives acting tips to his co-stars and never fails to appreciate them during shoot.”
On his upcoming project, he says, “I will be signing CV Kumar’s upcoming directorial venture. It’s an intense thriller, with a lot of emotional elements. I have to look more skinny for the character and have already started working for it.” Daniel Balaji also reveals us the reason for not signing more than one project simultaneously. “I want to look different in every film and that’s one of the reasons why I don’t sign many projects at one go. If I am done shooting for my portions, I used to help my friends with their scripts.”
