Only script has been penned: Perarasu on directing Vijay
Earlier this week, rumours were rife that Perarasu and Vijay are all set to collaborate for the third time after Thirupachi and Sivakasi. The rumours sparked off after Jaguar Thangam at an event congratulated Perarasu for his next film with Vijay.

On Wednesday, Perarasu in a statement, clarified “I thought that this news will fade off within a day, but media houses have started reporting the stories and have spread like a wildfire. It is true that I’ve penned a story for Vijay and awaiting the right opportunity to meet him for a narration. However, as of now there is no confirmation on the project.” Vijay hasn’t decided on who will be directing his 65th film. His 64th project with Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to start rolling later this year.
