Makers of Darbar reveal Rajini’s new look

The poster also indicated that the actor will be playing the role of a cop in the film, after almost two decades.The makers of Darbar have now surprised his fans by revealing the second look poster from the film on Onam. Rajinikanth was seen sporting a black singlet and performing an intense action sequence. Director AR Murugadoss posted the picture and wrote, “Younger, smarter, wiser, tougher… Thalaivar in a never seen before Avatar #DarbarSecondLook.”

The shooting of Darbar is currently progressing in the outskirts of Mumbai along with Nayanthara, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Barbar. The film is scheduled for release in January 2020, while the audio will be out in December 2019. Meanwhile, speculations are also doing rounds on social media that the director will be teaming up with Rajini for yet another film post the release of Darbar. However, sources close to Rajini denied it saying, “Rajinikanth’s next will be directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. He is not doing another project withMurugadoss.”
