Suriya, GVM end differences, to reunite after 11 years
The duo will come together for a film later this year that will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

Afew years ago, Suriya and Gautham Vasudev Menon had a fallout over Dhruva Natchathiram, as the latter delayed the film’s shoot. Suriya sent an official statement saying that he chose to walk out of the project, which developed the rift. However, it looks like the duo has sorted out their differences and will work together for a film that will go on floors later this year.
A reliable source in the tinseltown told DT Next, “The project will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Gautham Menon reached London on Thursday noon to sign the agreement and get his advance to settle the pending amount for Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta’s release that was supposed to hit the screens today.”
Suriya and Gautham Menon together have delivered trendsetters like Kaakha Kaakha and Vaaranam Aayiram. An official announcement regarding the film is expected in coming days.
Meanwhile, Gautham Menon-Dhanush’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta that was originally planned to hit the screens today has been postponed to September 12.
An office bearer fromthe Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners’ Association told us, “The financial hurdlesfor Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta is over. Initially, we planned to release the film on September 7. With over four releases this week, we decided to push it to September 12.”
