Vishnu Vishal takes a dig at National award
Actor Vishnu Vishal’s Ratchasan was one among the top three Indian films on IMDB last year. The psycho-thriller in which the actor played a cop was a blockbuster at the box office. However, the film wasn’t nominated in any category at the recently-announced National Awards.

Vishnu Vishal took to Twitter and posted, “Ratchasan not nominated in any category in yet another ‘Awards’ ‘However, Public acceptance is the real award,’ ....thank u all for the luv u hav showered on this movie:) @dir_ramkumar Iam proud of your screenplay.” (sic). Vishnu Vishal garnered appreciation on social media for his post and netizens even discussed if the film actually deserves an award.
