Vijay Sethupathi, Aamir Khan come together for a B’wood film

A few days ago, the director of Vijay Sethupathi’s Sanga Thamizhan, shared a picture of himself with Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan as the latter paid a quick visit to the sets of his film. Since then, reports are doing the rounds that Vijay Sethupathi and Aamir might collaborate for a new project and the pre-production work has already begun.

Now, Sethupathi himself has confirmed that he will be sharing screenspace with Aamir Khan in one of his upcoming films and the producers will make an official announcement soon. Interestingly, a reliable source revealed to us that the actor will be a part of than the Hindi remake of acclaimed Hollywood flick, Forrest Gump. “He will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. But it is too early to talk about his character,” a source said.

The remake is tentatively titled Lal Singh Chaddha and will be directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame. If this happens, then it will be the actor’s first Hindi film. He is waiting for the release of his Telugu debut, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, featuring Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Interestingly, Aamir Khan will be reprising Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha. The film will go on floors in November and will be directed by Pushkar-Gayathri, who directed the original.
