Dhanush to play dual role in Pattas

The latest we hear is that the actor will be playing dual roles for the second time after Kodi that was also directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Source close to the movie unit says that the actor will be playing a father-son duo for the first time in his career. Produced by Sathyajyoti Films, the film will have Mehreen Pirzada playingthe female lead.

The source also added that Sneha has been roped in to play a crucial role and has been practising martial arts along with Dhanush as the story revolves around them. Both these actors have been paired again after a gap of 13 years, after Pudupettai. The film that went on floors earlier this year, is expected to hit the screens on Deepavali along withVijay’s Bigil. Apart from Pattaas, Dhanush has signed yet another film for the same production house that will be helmed by Ramkumar of Ratchasan fame. The actor will take off to London in September to start shooting for Karthik Subbaraj’s gangster flick produced by Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios.
