Paresh Rawal roped in for Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru
Even before the release of Suriya-Selvaraghavan’s NGK, the actor started working on his upcoming film, Soorarai Pottru, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara. Many pictures from the sets were doing the rounds online and Suriya’s look became the talk of the town.

Now, we hear from reliable sources that Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal, who is known for his performances in films like Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and OMG – Oh My God, is all set to make his debut in Kollywood with this one. A source says, “Paresh Rawal will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in the film. He plays business airline’s Chief Executive Officer and it will be completely in contrast with the films he was part of in Hindi. An official announcement will be made in the coming days.”
Malayalam girl Aparna Balamurli, who shot to fame with GV Prakash’s Sarvam Thaala Mayam, will play Suriya’s romantic interest in the film.
Soorarai Pottru is bankrolled by 2D Entertainment and co-produced by Guneet Monga. GV Prakash has been roped in to compose music for the film.
