RS Prasanna joins hands with Kavithalaya for a web series
Director RS Prasanna, who made his debut with Kalyana Samayal Saadham, featuring Lekha and Prasanna is all set to produce a web series in Tamil in association with the late legendary director K Balachander’s Kavithalaya Productions.

The news was revealed on Tuesday during Balachander’s 99th birth anniversary celebrations in the city. RS Prasanna wrote, “Excited about Digital platform storytelling. Can’t have asked for a more exciting start than with KB Sir’s Blessing! KB sir was the pioneer of bold, unusual stories which today are in Vogue!”(sic)
Directed by newcomer Praveen Raghupathy, we hear that, Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in as the female lead. “The shoot of the series has already begun and the makers are planning to release it in September.”
