Three-way clash at the box office for Pongal 2020?

Kollywood, unlike Bollywood isn’t streamlined enough as the audience keep wondering till the last minute about whether their matinee idol’s film will hit the screens as per plan. However, makers of Vijay 63, Rajini’s Darbar and Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai have locked the release date along with the movie’sofficial announcement.

Among these Vijay 63 will hit the screens this Deepavali while Superstar’s Darbar which is in its final leg of shooting will release for Pongal. The latest news is that Vijay 64 too will join the Pongal 2020 race and release along with Darbar.

A source in the know of things told DT Next, “Vijay 64 with Lokesh Kanagaraj is likely to go on floors in August. The film will be shot in a single non-stop schedule and the makers are eyeing a Pongal release.” However, tinseltown sources also hinted that Ajith’s next with Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai, might be locking horns with Darbar and Vijay 64 for Pongal 2020. Earlier, in an interview with DT Next, director H Vinoth said that he is penning the script of his next with Ajith and will go on floors after the release of Nerkonda Paarvai.
