Afew months ago, director Vignesh Shivn had announced that he would be joining hands with Sivakarthikeyan for a new project, which will be bankrolled by none-other-than Lyca Productions. There were also reports that Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is making her debut in Tamil with Karthi’s film, has been roped in to play the female lead and might join the sets in July. Now, we hear from reliable sources that Rashmika Mandanna has decided to opt out of the project due to creative differences. A source in the know of things says, “Rashmika agreed to work on this project as she felt that the script was interesting. However, later she realised that her character didn’t have much scope to perform and had less screen time. That might be one of the reason why she decided to walk out of the project.” The makers have already begun searching another heroine and will make an official announcement in a couple of weeks. Sources also say that it is a two-heroine subject and will be something on the lines of Vignesh Shivn’s previous films. Anirudh Ravichandran has been finalised as the composer for this film.
