Mani’s Vaanam Kottatum shoot from July

GV Prakash is expected to play another lead in this film that will be helmed by Mani’s associate director Dhanasekaran of Padaiveeran fame.

The latest news from the unit is that the film is all set to go on floors in the second week of July. Sarathkumar and Radikaa will be playing on screen couples in the film, which will only be the fourth time in their respective careers. The film was originally planned to be directed by Mani Ratnam before he got busy with the pre-production work of Ponniyin Selvan.

Vaanam Kottatum will have its music by Govind Vasantha of 96 fame. An official announcement on the project is expected to be made by the team of Madras Talkies later this month. Meanwhile, we also heard that the cast has been finalised for Ponniyin Selvan and the lead cast and technicians will be signing the project officially next week.
