Jaya biopic with Kangana to be made in Rs 100 cr budget?

Rumours did the rounds that Kangana has charged a whopping salary of Rs 24 crore for the film. A source from tinseltown now says that the film is being made on a budget of Rs 100 crore. Hollywood makeup artistes have been flown in for Kangana’s makeup for the film.

The actress will also be adding a few pounds in the coming days. Talking to DT Next, director Vijay had said, “I went through several books and met a lot of people connected with her to know who and what exactly she was. The film will have minute detailing on her life. Her nephew Deepak helped us in knowing her better.”

Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Indhuri, Thalaivi will have its dialogues by Vijayendra Prasad. GV Prakash will compose the music and Nirav Shah will handle the cinematography.
