Actress Gouri Kishan begins shooting for 96 Telugu remake
Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96 went on to become one of the most celebrated films in Tamil last year. We had earlier reported that Telugu producer Dil Raju had acquired the film’s rights in Telugu and will have Samantha reprising the role of Trisha and Sharwanand playing Vijay Sethupathi’s role.

The latest news is that the shoot of the film has gone on floors and Gouri G Kishan who played the younger Trisha will be playing the same role inTelugu as well.
The actress posted a picture on Instagram to confirm this. Earlier there were rumours that Samantha wanted to play the younger version of her role too. However, talking to DT Next Premkumar denied it. The story of 96 revolved around two childhood sweethearts who meet 20 years later at a school reunion event
