The first look of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film, Sanga Tamizhan, was released on Tuesday and it went on to become an instant hit on social media. The actor was seen sporting a rugged look with a twirled mustache.

Directed by Vijay Chander, the film is touted to be an intense action drama. A source reveals us that Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of a thug, who goes to any extent for his family. “Major part of the film is currently being shot at Courtallam,” the source adds. Nivetha Pethuraj and Rashi Khanna are playing the two female leads in the film. Bankrolled by Vijaya Productions, the film also has Soori, Simran and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. Vivek-Mervin duo of Gulaebaghavali fame is composing music for the film and Velraj cranks the camera.
