Arvind Swami to play a detective in his next
Arvind Swami, who is currently waiting for the release of Vanagamudi and Sathuranga Vettai 2, has begun working on his next. The actor will be seen playing the lead in a film directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar, who is known for making adult genre films like Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu and Hara Hara Mahadevaki.

The film was launched on Thursday in the city and the makers are planning to go on floors in the first week of June. A source close to the team says, “The film will be completely in contrast to Santhosh’s previous projects. It will be an investigative thriller that revolves around Arvind Swami’s character. He plays a detective in the film. Other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.” Produced by V Mathiyalagan of Etcetera Entertainment, the makers have roped in Imman as the composer. Meanwhile, Arvind Swami is also shooting for a film titled Kallapart, directed by Rajapandi.
