Wunderbar Films not shutting down, clarifies team

When we got in touch with Vinod, he said, “The reports that have appeared on the internet are baseless. I am very much a part of Wunderbar films,” he told DTNext. He further went on to say that a few people, who demanded a huge sum to promote Wunderbar films, were turned down by the company. “They sparked off this rumour and I don’t need to justify anything. I have been with Dhanush for over 10 years now and we know where the production house stands today. Though I cannot divulge much, Dhanush will be doing films for my production house and for Wunderbar, too, for which we will work together. He has nurtured quite a few talents in the industry. It was Dhanush, who wanted me to venture as an independent producer. He initiated my project with Vishal, that will go on floors soon,” he revealed.

Vinod also clarified on why Dhanush has been committing lesser number of films for his production house. “He is currently shooting for projects that he had committed to last year. Just because a production house looks dormant from the outside doesn’t mean that it is shutting down. We have quite a few projects on hand across languages and we will make an official announcement soon,” he concluded.
