Cognizant acquires El-Technologies

On Wednesday, Cognizant has agreed to acquire the French operations of EI-Technologies, a Paris-based, digital technology consulting firm and Salesforce specialist in France. The proposed acquisition would complement Cognizant’s global Salesforce practice, expanding client resources in Europe.

Cognizant would add approximately 345 employees in France. Bechara Raad, founder and CEO of EI-Technologies, said: “Joining Cognizant would enable us to address a wider range of client needs — including automation, artificial intelligence, customer experience design and more — that are emerging in the digital economy, and to pursue projects on a larger scale.”

EI-Technologies is a Salesforce Platinum Partner, and its EI-Institut is among the largest Salesforce Authorised Training Delivery Partner centres in Europe. Earlier this week, Cognizant announced the acquisition of Code Zero Consulting, a privately-held provider of consulting and implementation services for cloud-based Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) and billing solutions. The acquisition further strengthens Cognizant’s cloud solutions portfolio and Salesforce CPQ and billing capabilities. Financial details were not disclosed. “This further strengthens our strategic relationship with Salesforce.com,” said Brian Humphries, CEO of Cognizant.
