Parryware forays into domestic PVC pipes and fittings market
Parryware, the flagship brand of Roca, has expanded its business operations with foray into the household plumbing pipe segment. It has introduced cPVC (Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) pipes which are used for potable hot and cold water distribution systems. This is a significant addition to the bathroom fittings segment of the company to scale its business in India.

KE Ranganathan, MD, Roca Bathroom Products Pvt Ltd said, “Parryware plans to focus on southern India in the first phase of the launch as it remains to be the undisputed market leader in the region. We have forayed into the cPVC segment, becoming one stop solution for all your bathroom needs.”
“Our Madurai launch will be followed by others, that will enable us to expand to the whole of Tamil Nadu and then across the country,” he added.
In the initial phase, Parryware cPVC pipes in the first phase of its launch will be retailed in the state through company’s extensively spread retailer network starting next year. Venturing in this new segment helps the brand provide an integrated house building experience, enhancing customer experience and enabling cross sales.
The Indian household plumbing pipes segment is a vast market and the demand for PVC pipes increased owing to its low maintenance requirement and better performance over the years. The market offers significant demand for GI fitting replacement along with demand for new constructions.
