SBI cuts down the daily withdrawal limit from ATMs
The bank said that the limit would take effect from today and also said that the move was to enhance and support the goal of a cashless economy.

Banking giant State Bank of India has made an announcement that its Classic and Platinum card holders can now withdraw a maximum of only Rs. 20000.
Earlier the daily limit was Rs. 40000. The bank also clarified that this reduction of limit was in view of the rising crimes in the ATMs in the country.
The management also said that the move was implemented also keeping in mind the aim of making India a cashless economy.
