RE/MAX India augments footprint in Chennai

Indian real estate market size is expected to reach $180 billion by 2020. As per a recent CBRE South Asia report, India’s top seven cities witnessed an addition of about 1.9 million sq ft of fresh supply led by Chennai in the first half of 2018. Chennai today is leading the retail realty market. With consistent demand from end user, investor and NRI, it is also the biggest MIG housing projects market. 

“We have realised the potential this market offers. So, we have had a keen focus on the city market. Our focus shall continue to develop our office to world class broker offices with trained, customer service oriented and highly productive agents in the city of market share in outright sales transactions across retail, commercial and residential segments in 2018-19 further rising up to 20 per cent by 2020. “We plan to double the gross transaction value across primary and secondary segments to 200 Cr in FY19 across the state. We plan to launch our future projects of 20 Broker Offices (RE/MAX Franchise’s) and 250 Broker Associates across key towns in Tamil Nadu by 31st Mar’19,” said Gaurav Marya, MD, RE/MAX India.
