Gold, silver fall on lower demand
Gold prices fell by Rs 185 to Rs 29,370 per 10 grams at the bullion market here today owing to lower demand from local jewellers.

Silver prices also weakened by Rs 740 per kg on reduced offtake by industrial units.
Standard gold (99.5 per cent purity) dropped by Rs 185 to end at Rs 29,370 per 10 grams from Tuesday's level of Rs 29,555.
Pure gold (99.9 per cent purity) also eased by the same margin to close at Rs 29,520 per 10 grams as against Rs 29,705 previously.
Silver (.999 fineness) went down by Rs 740 to conclude at Rs 36,790 as against Rs 37,530 previously.
Globally, gold prices bounced from 19-month lows as dollar slipped following announcement of US-China trade talks, although sentiment remained negative.
Spot gold was by up 0.5 percent at USD 1,179.56 an ounce at early trade.
Silver rose 1.1 percent to USD 14.58 an ounce after earlier hitting the lowest since February 2016 at USD 14.30.
