Medium sugar (M-30) inched-up by Re 1 per quintal to Rs 3,340/3,661 from Wednesday's closing of Rs 3,340/3,660.
However, small sugar (S-30) fell by Rs 16 per quintal to Rs 3,240/3,400 as against Rs 3,256/3,400, yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets: Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,240/3,400 (Rs 3,256/3,400).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,340/3,661 (Rs 3,340/3,660).
