    City gears up for automotive engg show

    A three-day Automotive Engineering Show (AES) will begin on November 9 in the city to showcase innovative technologies that optimises the efficiency of workflow for all the automobile manufacturing companies.

    Organised by Messe Frankfurt India, the Indian subsidiary of one of the world’s leading trade fair company co-owned by the City of Frankfurt and the State of Hesse of Germany, AES is one of the most prominent exhibitions dedicated to world class solutions in the automotive sector. 

    The sixth edition of AES Chennai will cover an array of effective engineering solutions that fits suppliers in the automotive manufacturing domain. Automotive Engineering Show will largely cover Automotive design and R&D, Automotive inspection and quality control, Automotive paint and finishing as well as Automotive plant equipment and systems. 

    “Chennai is the base to 30% of India’s automobile industry and 35% of its auto component industry. Being the epicentre for this sector in India, Chennai has seen a presence of major automobile manufacturing companies making it one of the most relevant city to host Automotive Engineering Show,” said Raj Manek, MD, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd “The strong list of exhibitors at the show will enable the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and auto component manufacturers to source and build business relationships with the sector players from the industry. 

    Leading auto manufacturing players and decision makers from L&T, TVS, Ford, Tata Motors, Infosys, Hyundai, Renault Nissan, Maruti Suzuki, BMW, Fiat, Ashok Leyland, Delphi TVS Diesel Systems, Wabco India, Visteon and MRF Limited are expected to visit the fair,” he added.
