Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, Director - Product Management and Business Development, Zoho said, “Earlier this year, we launched GST Compliant Finance Plus suite for our customers to access and file GST returns. Becoming a GSP helps in cost optimisation and providing a great experience for our business users. Furthermore, we will leverage our expertise in developing platforms and ecosystems to support a thriving community of Application Service Providers (ASP) connecting to GSTN through us.”
A GSP has to develop technology solution for Goods and Services taxpayers and other stakeholders to help connect to the GST systems for compliance, starting from uploading of invoice details to filing of various GST returns.
Meanwhile, the firm also unveiled Cliq, chat software that combines instant messaging with video, audio, and group conferencing to create a unified communications system for firms of all size. Available in native, web and mobile versions, Cliq integrates with Zoho and third-party applications to bring relevant data from those applications into the Cliq window, providing chat participants contextual information about the topic being discussed.
“More firms are turning to chat for real-time, internal collaboration,” said Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho Corp. “Sometimes text isn’t enough, and chat software must be able handle voice and video communications as well as the documents, images, and other data related to the work at hand.”
