Dental chain expands presence in Chennai
Clove Dental, a chain promoted by Global Dental Services, is on an expansion drive in the city. The company recently unveiled two multi-specialty dental clinics at Shanthi Colony and West Mambalam. With these launches, Clove Dental now has eight clinics in the metro.

With 160+ clinics across 11 states, Clove has set a targetto launch 200 clinics in the next 2 years in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka andTamil Nadu.
As many as 600 clinics will be launched over next 4-5 yearsnationally. It plans on adding 10-12 clinics every month for the next fewyears.
The company has so far made an investment of $25 mn andplans to invest another $25-30 mn till it reaches the 600-clinic target.
Lt Gen Dr Vimal Arora, Chief Clinical Officer, Clove Dentalsaid, “For the last five years, we have been working towards redefining theOral Care market in India by introducing painless dentistry.
As per Ken Research, the India dental care services marketwill register double digit growth rate and will reach over Rs 14,700 crore byFY’2020 due to growth in the number of dental chains which would expand theshare of organized dental clinics in the country.
Research Analyst at Ken Research suggests that the domesticplayers need to focus on effective marketing strategies.
