A supplier of fragrances to wellknown international brands, the company manufactures fragrance formulations that are exported to 65 nations, including the UK, US, France, Saudi Arabia, and Russia.

The company, which claims to have one of the world’s highest capacity fragrance plants under one roof, imports a significant chunk of its raw materials from Tamil Nadu as well.

Aslan Gulcicek, Chairman of the company’s Board tells us, “We import some of our raw materials from India. These are various ingredients including naturals. India is a great source for the highest quality naturals.  We also purchase Jasmine Sambac Concrete and Tuberose Concrete from TN. We import indigenous naturals from many other regions of the subcontinent. The fragrance grades and quality is suitable and sustainable for our formulations.”

Elaborating on TN’s strength as a hub for the fragrances and flavours industry, he adds, “Our strategic partners also source raw materials from TN just like we do. A recent high profile seminar conducted by the Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI) was also held in Chennai, bearing testimony to the region’s importance in this field.”

Being a solution partner, instead of being a supplier is what differentiates MG from its competitors. A wide range of ingredients used in the creations of fragrances is an asset for the company, sums up Aslan.
