‘DMK tried to kill Kaduvetti Guru’ 

PMK founder president Dr S Ramadoss claimed that the DMK men attempted to kill Kaduvetti J Guru on several occasions and urged the Vanniyar youths to beware of the ‘evil force’ and not fall prey to its conspiracies.

Inaugurating the manimandapam to the late Vanniyar leader Kaduvetti J Guru constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore in an area of 51 cents at Kaduvetti in Ariyalur district, PMK founder said that he had seen him as his elder son. 

The greatest punishment given to him by Guru was participating his funeral, he added. DMK men had conspired to kill Guru on several accessions, but he along with party president GK Mani rescued him, Ramadoss said.

Meanwhile, Ramadoss announced that the party had decided to organise Vanniyar women wing conference at Poompuhar and appealed the party workers to ensure huge participation. 

Rajya Sabha MP and the youth wing president of the party Dr Anbumani Ramadoss said, this is for the first time, a party chief has constructed a manimandapam for his follower and this would be proclaimed as the symbol of valour and of Vanniyars across the nation. 

Meanwhile, Anbumani pointed out that the traitors had attempted to separate Guru from Ramadoss, but they had failed. “The last wish of Guru was that the PMK should rule the state. It would be materialised by the next election,” he assured.
