A video claiming to be shot in Lonavla of a fruit-seller spraying paint on litchi is going viral. While the seller is seen talking to the person shooting the video, another vendor joins and says people do not buy the fruit if it has a greenish hue and not red. Alt News broke down the video into key-frames and was redirected to reports from Sept 2018. The incident was actually found to be from Pakistan’s Afzal Pur where a British tourist shot the clip after her aunt ate the grapes, and not litchi as claimed on social media, and fell sick.
