Flock of peacocks, not a ‘lockdown sighting’

An image of birds including peacocks and parrots nibbling on grains on an empty road, supposedly in the backdrop of the lockdown has now gone viral. The image was said to have been shot at the Ooty-Coimbatore highway. The post has been shared more than 4,200 times so far. Alt News performed a reverse search and found the same image posted on September 4, 2019. Thus, it’s clear that the image is at least a year old and not from the lockdown.
