A video showing Delhi Police pumping chemical gas into the houses where Muslim families reside amid the anti-CAA protest is going viral on social media. The 39-second video is captioned as ‘This video was taken in Jaffrabad, Delhi. Delhi Police is pumping gas into residences where even children are not spared.’

The video contains CTV India news icon. On checking the new channel’s YouTube, it was found that the video was uploaded on 18, December, 2019. This video was shared in Facebook and twitter even back in 2019. Although the story behind the video is not clear it proves that the video is not linked to the current protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
