The India-China border dispute has sparked a fake news spree online. A video showing Indian soldiers in distress was uploaded by a Pakistani Facebook page on June 19. The accompanying caption claims, “India’s destruction has started, the video of Indian Army goes viral.” Alt News traced the video and found that the footage was a mishmash of clips from various Bollywood films that had been compiled by an army aficionado.
