After Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Delhi Capitals in the 2020 IPL final to win the tournament for the fifth time, an image went viral. It shows MI captain Rohit Sharma’s photo displayed on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. As per the claim, he is the first cricketer and third Indian after Mahatma Gandhi and Shah Rukh Khan to receive this honour. Alt News went through MI’s FB and Twitter handles and couldn’t find a single post that shows Rohit Sharma’s image on Burj Khalifa.
