An image of a woman riding a bicycle with an infant wrapped on her back and a sack tugged on to the cycle’s rear seat, has gone viral. The caption says, “New India’s truth.” The tweet, pitched as one pertaining to migrant woes, was later deleted. Alt News found that the image was published on the UK-based blog Cyclechic in 2016. The caption reads, “This picture was taken in Nepal where bicycle is the preferred mode of transportation.”
