Last week, many news outlets based out of India reported that former Pakistani diplomat, Agha Hilaly admitted that the February 26, 2019 Balakot airstrike saw 300 casualties on the Pakistani side. India’s then Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that the casualty figure will not be provided. International media had subsequently reported that no one had died in the strikes.
