Sunita Yadav, a constable had recently reprimanded the son of a Gujarat minister for violating lockdown in Surat. The video of this incident went viral with praise coming her way. A Twitter handle in her name then posted: “I thought it was appropriate to resign rather than apologise for my action.” Alt News found there were many fake handles under her name. The constable clarified she was still on active duty.
