A rumour stating that the Government had decided to slash pension by 30% and for those over 80 years, there is no pension is going viral on social media.

This comes following an article which states that the Government might consider slashing the pension in order fund for the COVID- 19 crisis.

The Press Bureau Information has dismissed the rumour as fake as the government had not announced any such cut down.
